On June 18, in celebration of Chemists' Day, the Innovar Group had the honor of
participate in a special event at the Federal Institute of the Triângulo Mineiro (IFTM)
Representing the company, our employees Mércia Mesquita, Quality Control Coordinator, and Michele Augusto, Full Laboratory Analyst, were invited as speakers in an enriching chat with students from the Chemistry Degree, Chemistry Technician and Biology Degree courses.
The meeting promoted an inspiring exchange on the role of chemistry in the production of agricultural bio-inputs, connecting science, sustainability and innovation. With language that was both accessible and technical, Mércia and Michele shared practical day-to-day experiences at the Innovar Group's model biofactory, reinforcing how the work of professional chemists is essential to guarantee quality, safety and efficiency at every stage of the biological process.
In addition to the technical aspects, the event also highlighted the multiple career possibilities in the area of bio-inputs, from research and development in the laboratory to working in the field and in industry. It was an opportunity to show students that chemistry applied to organic farming is a promising path for those who want to transform agriculture with technical knowledge and environmental awareness.
