Innovar Group holds 1st Open House Academy and welcomes more than 150 students to agricultural biotechnology event

The aim is to provide a real practical immersion in the world of agricultural biotechnology, connecting science, innovation and the future of agriculture.

On June 28, the Innovar Group held the 1st Open House Academy, an unprecedented initiative that opened the company's doors to more than 150 students and teachers from Fazu (Faculdades Associadas de Uberaba).

The program began with a moment of content, connection and inspiration. The opening was given by the director and founding partner of the Innovar Group, Carlos Henrique, who shared the company's trajectory and demonstrated how its work is directly linked to the courses present, Agronomy, Agribusiness, Agrocomputing and Zootechnics. By highlighting the importance of interdisciplinarity, he showed that the agriculture of the future is made up of integration between different areas of knowledge.

The event was followed by a contribution from Dr. Francis Ferreira, microbiology manager at the Innovar Group and professor at Fazu, who reflected on the role of microbiology in the production of bio-inputs with technical responsibility and efficiency in the field. Special guest Augusto Teixeira, from the company Libertas, complemented the event with a strategic vision of regenerative agriculture, reinforcing the importance of sustainable practices for building a new production logic.

During the second part of the visit, the students were divided into groups and guided through all of the Innovar Group's sectors. Accompanied by teachers Diego Fraga and Luan Odorizzi, with the support of lecturers Marcelo Augusto and Leandro Andrade, the students were able to experience the whole cycle of applied biotechnology in practice: from the first steps in the microbiology laboratory, through the fermentation processes on an industrial scale in the model biofactory, to the presentation of the automation and control technologies embedded in the production systems.

They got a closer look at the different production formats developed by the company: large-scale systems for biofactories, single-use solutions for direct application on the farm, such as BioEvolve®, and the differentials that make the process safer, standardized and more efficient.

In a sector that is growing exponentially in Brazil and around the world, taking part in a visit like this is more than just an academic experience: it means coming into direct contact with one of today's greatest professional opportunities. It was a day that brought students closer to what is most modern in agricultural biotechnology and showed, with real examples, how the agriculture of the future is already being built today.
